We were looking at appropriation of different famous artworks that tie in with modern day culture. When creating this I was using the postmodern frame and do a parody of a famous work. When looking at different types of culture in today society and everyone uses social media. One of the most common types of social media is snap chat and the different filters. The two snap chat filters I decided to look at was the puppy dog filter and the tiny face filter.

These filters are common in society with celebrity, teens and young adults using them all the time. Because celebrity are using them I decided to put them on Mona Lisa because she is a famous artwork and could have been a celebrity of her time.
